I was recently commissioned by ^livius to create a bacterium emote set. This set has to be one of the more interesting things I have done pixel wise. In the download is an animated version of one of the bacterium. I'm not that fantastic with continuous flow animations but I hope I applied a decent attempt. Enjoy ^livius, I look foreward to working with you again in the future.

Update: animation fixed by my uber buddy ¢budgieishere. :heart:

that's really awesome. : D topnotch pixel work, and very cool subject. I've always loved learning about virus and bacteria, I'm taking a college level biology next year so hopefully I'll get to go in depth with it. : D

i remember doing a project in like 5th grade on bacteria and stuff.. and i represented some ofthem with noodles or cereal glued on my poster XD

I just could not be more satisfied. I knew from your gallery that your talent was matched only by your attention to detail, but even so I never envisioned they'd look this cool. Particularly notable is the shading in the phage. You capture the 3-D geometry of hexagonal part perfectly. The others are also shaded and designed with exquisite precision, and I love the animated flagellum in the bacterium. It's just as cute as I imagined it'd be. :aww:

Thank you for taking on this commission and doing such a beautiful job. I am most certainly looking forward to our next time. :thanks:

Yeah it seemed like this would be an interesting project based on old memories of biology class so taking on this request was certainly intriguing.
